Dr. Stefka Dimitrova

Dr. Dimitrova is part of the team of veterinarians at the Wildlife Rescue Center.

She works in the patient clinic and intensive care unit at the Center, and is responsible for the arriving patients and their treatment. During the spring-summer season, Dr. Dimitrova is also part of the team at the Center’s nursery sector. Students and trainees are also under her guidance.

Darina is a long-term volunteer at the Rescue Center. Dedicated and hardworking, she was part of our ‘army’ of volunteers, without whom the Green Balkans Rescue Center would not have been possible. Now, Darina is part of our team, as head of the breeding program within the 'Reintroduction of the Saker Falcon in Bulgaria' project and continues to devote herself to rehabilitating animals and wildlife conservation, now as one of the Green Balkans employees!
