The Green Balkans photo exhibition about NATURA 2000 is displayed in Eco museum with Aquarium - Rousse
The exhibition includes 30 attractive photographs of habitats and species of European conservation significance.
Some of the pictures are taken by the photographer Emil Enchev while others are part of the Green Balkans’ archive. The exhibition aims to popularize the importance of the NATURA 2000 European ecological network in Bulgaria as a crucial tool for the protection of the most valuable landscapes in our country, as well as to attract public support for their long-term conservation.
As part of the “NATURA 2000 in Bulgaria – New horizons” project, a short information clip, made by Hobby TV, as part of the joint activities with Green Balkans, will be shown in the hall.

Natura 2000
Natura 2000 is the largest coordinated network for nature conservation. More than 30% of the territory of Bulgaria falls within the scope of the network - 120 areas for the protection of wild birds and 234 areas for the protection of natural habitats.
