Rila Nature Park Directorate celebrates Bat Night in Blagoevgrad and Samokov

A series of events were organized by the Rila National Park Directorate in Blagoevgrad and Samokov. “Wildlife” exhibition of three-dimensional models of the Green Balkans  was also presented in the information centers of the park in Blagoevgrad and Samokov.

Bat Night in the Town of Vratsa

The celebration of the International Bat Night, organized by the Vrachanski Balkan Nature Park Directorate on October 13th, was held with great interest. More than 50 students from “Kozma Trichkov” Secondary School, “Otets Paisii” Secondary School  and “Hristo Botev” Secondary School,  Vratsa took an active part in the initiative.

Bat Night in the Town of Kula

At the invitation of the Severozapazvane movement, on 14.10.2022, we visited the Community Center “Prosveta -1882” - the town of Kula. We held another Bat Night, which aroused great interest among children and adults in the area.

Green Balkans volunteer camp

In the period 28-30 September 2022 a volunteer camp was held in the area of the village of Rakitna, Kresna Gorge, organized by Zeleni Balkani, together with the FWFF and with the participation of a group of motivated volunteers. More than 10 new volunteers joined the camp and shared with us the emotion of a working day among the vultures.

Bat Night in the town of Stara Zagora

The time has come for the bats “to land” in the courtyard of “Geo Milev” House-Museum in the town of Stara Zagora. We marked the event with a varied program of artistic workshops, exhibitions with curious facts and photos of bats that are found in Bulgaria, and for the older guests there was a film and an interesting presentation about bats.

Bat Night in the Town of Sliven

On October 5th, at the Sinite Kamani  Nature Park Directorate, experts from the park celebrated the International Bat Night with over 200 children.
