Green Balkans announces open days at the Pomorie Lake Visitor Center from Monday (August 24) to Sunday (September 6). On this date, by order of the Pomorie mayor, the organization must vacate the Visitor Center. "We use this last opportunity to acquaint the whole public with the biodiversity of Pomorie Lake and what we have achieved over the years," said Elena Stoeva from Green Balkans.
It is still unclear exactly how the organization will leave the Center, as the special exhibition was set up on site specifically for its purposes and attempts to export it would harm or destroy it. At the same time, Green Balkans insists on guarantees that the Center's exposition and equipment will be used according to their wishes as initiators for the existence of the Visitor Center and the will of the donors from the Global Environment Facility and the World Bank.
The Visitor Center is also part of the National Movement "Discover Bulgaria - 100 National Tourist Sites", and Green Balkans warns that leaving the Center during the active season will not allow tourists to participate in the initiative and is generally detrimental to society.
